Das Jacobi-Symbol kann wiederum zum <a href="Kronecker-Symbol" title="Kronecker-Symbol">Kronecker-Symbol</a> verallgemeinert werden. Die Notation ist die gleiche wie die des <i>Legendre-Symbols</i>:
